Speaking of Speech
Hey Eagles! How is everyone doing tonight? It's been awhile since my last blog. Sorry about that. It has just been really busy at NCCU lately. Midterms are approaching fast. When my professors keep talking about it, I get nauseated, no joke. It's okay though. I think once my nerves settle, studying will be fine. Also, I think my new favorite class this semester is definitely speech class with Professor Forte. First off, Professor Forte makes the classroom enjoyable to be in. Usually, professors make the classroom about them. Professor Forte makes the classroom alive, even if she is having a bad day, she always makes the class smile. Second, when you present something to the class, it never seems bad. This past Wednesday, I did my first major speech for the class. The speech was supposed to teach the class how to do something. I chose to share a little bit my Filipino heritage with them. When I first chose this topic I was really amped to show off my skills, but a few days before the actual speech, I kind of got nervous. What if I messed up, or what if everyone thought that it was stupid? All those things and more were running through my mind. So when Wednesday finally came around, I just took a deep breath and did it. What Professor Forte helped me stay calm by reading a littl phrase from a book she was reading. That one little phrase really set the tone for me. It helped me calm my nerves and get everything into perspective. If I had to pick one class and professor that I think really helped me grow as a student and as an invidual, it is Speech with Professor Minnie Forte. Hopefully when I find out my grade tomorrow, it will be a good grade. Well Eagles, that is all I have for you tonight. I hope you guys stay safe and remember to always fly high. Cold Weather, Snow and everything in between
Burrr!!! Hey eagles! How is everyone flying today? This is Asian Eagle reporting back from the nest. I hope everyone is staying warm in this weather we are having. I know I have found it fairly difficult at times to stay warm. The wind has definetly made walking around campus somewhat difficult. One good thing about this weather snow is that classes have been delayed for the past few days now. However, I don't know if that is technicaly a good thing or a bad thing. Also, on Monday after Central's 4 hour delay, I went to my math class. There was only like seven of us who had actually braved the rough roads. For that our teacher said she would give us some extra credit for coming. Oh I was so happy I came to class. I wish I could get extra for just coming to class everyday. On Tuesday, it was a whole different story. I had forgotten my wallet at home, so I had to come back. After getting my wallet, I attempted to get out of my driveway with my dad's 4-runner. OH MY GOODNESS!!!! It was so difficult to get up the driveway that I thought maybe I shouldn't go to school. But after so many manuveres, I finally got out and headed to Central. Parking, however, was not so fun. I almost got stuck again, and I was thinking that this really was not my day. But I perservered and got through it. Well, hopfully tomorrow will be a better day to drive. I hope all of you guys stay safe. And remember to always fly high. Have a good night everyone! This Asian Eagle and I am out!

Welcome Back Everyone!!!!!
Hello Eagles!!!! It has been a long time since we last saw or talked to each other. Sorry for the late post. It has been really hectic around campus lately. With classes starting back up, it has just been a blur. I could not believe the 1st semester was over already after I went home in December. It was even crazier to be back to school to start a new semester right away. At first, when I started my new classes this semester, I did not know what to expect. I kind of felt like the world was moving really fast. Unlike high school, there are hardly any breaks for college students. It was time to get my game face on once again. Besides the new classes, I have continued to look for a job, but no luck. Also, tragedy has hit the island of Haiti. Please keep your prayers with everyone who is over there right now. Well that is about it for now Eagles. Hopefully I can update a little more then I did last semester. Remember to always fly high. Have a nice night and stay safe.

Exam Week
Hey Eagles, how is everyone doing today? This is Asian Eagle reporting back from the nest. Today is the final week of classes and today is the last full day of class. This semester has really gone by quickly. We are definettly not in high school anymore. Especially this week, most of my classes have been flying by. Now it is time for me to prepare for my exams. I hope that i will do great on them. The only exams that I am really worried about are Sociology and French. I konw that if I prepare hard enough for them, I should do fine. Besides exams, Christmas is also on my mind. I still have a lot of shopping to do. Hopefully with all these books that I am returing, I can buy a gift for my family. My list is almost complete. Just a few more to go. Well Eagles, that is all for me for right now. My trying study for the exams that are coming up. I will try to post as soon as possible. Remember to always fly high! This is Asian Eagle flying high all the time.

Long Time, No blog, Eagles!
Hey Eagles, how is everyone doing on this fine November morning? This is Asian Eagle reporting back from the eagles nest. Sorry I have not been blogging lately. It has been a very tight schedule and I have had a lot of work to do. I cannot believe that this semester is already almost over. It just seems like yesterday that school started. So far my classes have steadily gotten harder but I'm working through it. There have been so many projects that were due this month that I lost track of time. It's funny how time catches up with us when we least expect it. It's okay though. I am a fighter and I will get through this. On a lighter note, how about my Yankees winning their 27th championship. Sorry yankee haters! Also, my boy Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao just utterly destroyed Cotto this weekend. Did anyone see the fight. Cotto's face got really messed up. Great Job Pacman! Also, last month I celebrated my 19th birthday. It was a fun experience for me. I got to go the state fair. It has been a while since I last went. It was fun. I was able to chill with my boys and ate my first turkey leg. The thing was huge. Well eagles, that's all have to report for now. It might be a week or two for my next blog, because exams are fastly approaching. Wish me luck and I hope you guys have a most excellent day. Remember to fly high. This is Asian Eagle soaring high.

Ahh! Fall Break
Good day Eagles! How is everyone flying today? Well fall break came and went just like the season of fall does usually. Also, I celebrated my birthday this past weekend. It was most excellent. I received a lot of very important gifts. Also, did I mention my Yanks are one win away from making another trip to the World Series? CC Sabathia and A-rod are making this post season memorable. Also, home coming is next week I believe. Central is about to get another win hopefully. Well that is about it for now. This is Asian Eagle flying high and I hope you guys do the same.
